Keswick Ministries organise the annual Keswick Convention which has been taking place since 1875. It offers something for everyone - life-changing Bible teaching, worship and fellowship, with separate Kids and Youth programmes (ages 3-18), all combined with the chance to relax and enjoy the wonder of the Lake District.

Keswick Street Theatre.

For 7 weeks during the summer Keswick Street Theatre brings the history of Keswick alive with evening performances taking place at 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings.

Each week the audience will enjoy 10 short scenes of "potted pantomime", depicting snippets of the towns’ history in a unique and humorous style during this walking tour of the town centre. 

All of the Street Theatre scenes are staged by a number of local amateur actors, who bring to life a variety of local characters spanning the past 450 years. 

All profits from Keswick Street Theatre are donated to charity.

 Music and festivities both in Packhorse Court and Market Square, lantern parade and the Rotary’s Tree of Light. A festive Market completes the days programme, with the lights switch-on at 5.30pm in Packhorse Court and 6.30pm in Market Square.  


 Victorian Fayre

 1st December

 The 32nd Keswick Victorian Fayre will take place on Sunday 1st  December in Keswick town centre.It will be a great day out for all the family with live music, street and stage entertainment and around thirty charities and local not-for profit organisations selling a fantastic range of goods and running competitions to raise funds. There will be the sale of Christmas crafts, gifts, local produce, fashion accessories, along with hot and cold food and       drinks, competitions and much more. Come along in Victorian costume which is optional but encouraged!

There will be free parking in all Keswick Allerdale Borough Council owned car parks on the day.While Santa has always made a special effort to visit the Fayre, for the last few years and again this year, he will be joined by his loyal reindeer bringing him in at around 12 noon.Santa and his reindeer will then be staying in the Market Square until 3.30pm.
